The Short Version

QRForged runs entirely in your browser. We don't collect, store, or transmit any of the data you enter — not your URLs, not your Wi-Fi passwords, not your contact information. Nothing.

Data Collection

QRForged does not collect:

Any data you type into the QR code generator
Generated QR code images
Personal information, names, emails, or phone numbers
IP addresses for tracking purposes

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand general usage patterns (page views, referrers, browser type, general location). Google Analytics uses cookies to distinguish unique users. No personally identifiable information is intentionally collected. You can opt out using Google's browser opt-out plugin.

Cookies

QRForged uses cookies only for Google Analytics (to distinguish unique visitors). We also use localStorage to remember your light/dark theme preference and consent choice, which stays on your device and is never transmitted.

Third-Party Services

QRForged loads the following external resources:

Google Fonts — for the Inter typeface and Material Symbols icons
cdnjs (Cloudflare) — for the QR code generation library
Google Analytics — for usage analytics

These services have their own privacy policies. No user-generated content is shared with them.

Children's Privacy

QRForged does not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy occasionally. Changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
